In 2016, when I researched Bulldogs, I came across the Continental Bulldog and discovered: Yes, that's exactly the dog I want. That's how I came to this great dog breed and to Cujo, my heart and soul dog.
Cujo was an absolute stroke of luck - in every respect. A dog like you probably only have once in a lifetime.
He has first-class health values and fulfills the breed standard in an excellent way, which is proven by his numerous show successes and champion titles in Germany, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland. In addition he has a really dreamlike nature. OK sometimes he is a bit exuberant and temperamental - but that is part of him.
I am very proud that Cujo contributes with his valuable genes to the further development of the Continental Bulldog breed. He already has numerous offspring in Germany, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic and Denmark. The breeders who have used him for breeding so far are very satisfied with the puppies and without exception comment positively on his sire qualities. Many of his offspring have already been successful at international shows and quite a few have been approved for breeding due to their very good quality. So there are already some litters in the grandchild generation of grandpa Cujo :-)
After a long time, the FCI has finally recognized the breed Continental Bulldog internationally on 3/31/2022, which was long overdue. I am very happy that Imelda Angehrn was finally able to witness this after such a long time and to reap the fruits of her long and arduous work. At this point: Thank you Imelda for giving us this wonderful breed!
